Ramadan is not only about fasting but a month to step up and reach out to those in need and to be generous to Muslims worldwide. What could have been a better way to feed the needy? We the students of ICE Pakistan are driven by a motto, “Giving back to the community” and took the initiative to host a Ramadan Dastar-Khawan, an iftar drive, to provide meals to the underprivileged and needy. This initiative was a true reflection of the institute’s commitment to serve the community and make a positive impact on society.

The students who participated in this drive, felt overwhelmed and transformative. It was a chance for them to connect to their community and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. They were grateful for the chance to assist individuals in need and give back to their community. Whereas, it made them appreciative of their blessings too, and their capacity to influence other people’s lives.

The Ramadan Dastar-Khawan by ICE Pakistan received an overwhelming response from individuals and organisations, who generously contributed to the project. The team dedicatedly put in their efforts, delegated tasks, and worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the campaign. Hundreds of meals were provided every Friday. Consequently, the institute’s focus on nurturing empathetic and responsible individuals is reflected in this initiative, which has put a positive impact on the society.

In conclusion, ICE Pakistan’s Ramadan Dastar-Khawan initiative is an exemplary display of the institute’s commitment to create responsible and empathetic individuals who value the community. The students’ efforts to serve the underprivileged during the holy month of Ramadan have left a lasting impact, and their dedication to social responsibility is commendable.
