The induction session of the new intake of students was held on 7^th February 2023 for the undergraduate programmes of HND Computing, HND Business and International Foundation Year.

The induction session was attended by students on campus and few students were in participation virtually. Student learning induction booklets were distributed at the start of the day for their respective programmes by program leads. The induction began with an introduction to the academic team. The students were conveyed about ICE Pakistan’s mission, vision and values by Assistant Manager Academics Ans Chohan. He also gave a brief overview of HND programme (which is an undergraduate pathway programme).

The induction session was followed by a detailed insight into computing pathway route by Ms. Samar Batool (Programme Lead for Computing). Following her session, Ms. Shaherbano Ijaz (Programme Lead for Business) gave a very enlightening talk with facts on pursuing business studies as an undergraduate programme. The purpose of the speaker session was to inform the students about the evolving field, job market trends and career progression towards industry and higher studies.

The induction session was concluded by Ms Zaima Amjad who discussed the international foundation programme course structure in detail and provided her experience as a student of transnational education programmes.  Students were also guided about the digital learning tools they have the access to, which includes HN Global, Pearson Progress, and other learning management tools.

The students were given orientation packs which had ICE Pakistan branded items to aid their student journey and were welcomed by the senior management.
