Join the International Foundation Year Pathway at the International Centre of Excellence (ICE) to prepare for admission into your desired undergraduate programme in the UK or internationally. The International Foundation Year Pathway is a single-year programme designed especially for A-Level students who want to improve upon their academic performance for a direct entry to the undergraduate programme of their choice at an international university.
ICE offers the Level 3 Diploma in Pre-University Foundation Studies awarded by Learning Resource Network (LRN), which opens doors for you to study at a wide range of universities in the UK and other countries. The students of this UK recognised programme have proceeded to study at their preferred universities in the UK, Australia and internationally.

The Level 3 Diploma in Pre U Foundation Studies consists of 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units for a combined total of 120 credits.
All units within this qualification are internally assessed via submission of assignments and externally verified by the awarding body. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.
The Level 3 Diploma in Pre U Foundation is a recognised qualification as per UCAS tariff, which provides a broad metric for qualifications at Level 3 to support university and college management information needs. With the Level 3 Diploma in Pre U Foundation Studies, you can get up to 144 points on the UCAS tariff based on your grades you earn (via submitting assignments for each unit).

The International Foundation Year (Level 3) programme is designed to help candidates in developing their understanding and knowledge of the pathway they wish to pursue at the Higher Education Level. Students get the opportunity to join International undergraduate degrees and professional certifications or join local universities in Pakistan. This qualification is equivalent to an A- Levels/FSC and anyone with a Matriculation or O’ Levels can apply. Anyone looking into a UG degree abroad can also apply if they are struggling with their grades in A-levels or FSC.
The overall qualification requires you to complete 6 modules. The first 3 modules; Foundation Mathematics, Foundation Computing, and Foundation Study Skills are compulsory. The learner can choose any combination from the list of electives shared at the time of admission. The first 3 modules are offered in the first semester and the learner can pick the next 3 modules in the second semester. The learners have a variety of subjects to choose from: Law, Psychology, Government and Politics, Further Mathematics, Business Management, Accounting, and Economics.

Yes, The International Foundation Year (Level 3) programme has been approved by the IBCC as an equivalent to A-Levels/FSC (12 Years of schooling at HSSC Level) in Pakistan which gives an opportunity to apply for admission in an undergraduate programme at a local university.
The assessment consists of written assessments externally set by the Awarding Body. The marking of assessments will be carried out in accordance with the assessment criteria listed in the assessments through the academic department. Once the assessments are complete, students' results are based on the Distinction/Merit/Pass/Fail criterion. There are no exams.
The total cost of IFY is approximately PKR 590,000/- which includes international registration. An installment plan for tuition fees is also available upon request, please contact the admission department for details.

The programme is being offered Face-to-Face at our main campus. Our Teaching Zone (Virtual Learning Platform) provides an opportunity for the students to track their qualifications by following related academic timelines, learning support, and study materials available online during their entire course. Students also get the access to Plagiarism/Similarity check facility 'Turnitin' and to reference for their written course before final submissions.
