GEW Week 2025 at ICE Pakistan: Three Days of Learning, Innovation and Real-World Exposure
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 at ICE Karachi, held under the theme “Together We Build”, brought three days of energy, creativity and practical learning to the campus. The event connected students with industry experts and professionals, creating a balanced mix of inspiration, competition and real-world exposure.
The week opened with ICE Talks, featuring two engaging guest sessions. Mr. Fawad Safder provided a clear and practical roadmap for transforming project ideas into viable startups, covering idea validation, business models, and early-stage planning. Meanwhile, Mr. Syed Ehsan delivered an insightful introduction to trading and financial markets, simplifying market behaviour, risk assessment, and the importance of financial literacy. These sessions set the tone for a purposeful and intellectually stimulating week.
Day two featured the highly anticipated SynergyX Case Study Challenge. Students competed in multiple rounds that tested their strategic thinking and creativity. From developing business plans and branding strategies to making investment decisions and pitching innovative concepts, the atmosphere remained enthusiastic and fast-paced. The winning team stood out for their clarity, originality and strong strategy, earning a cash prize of PKR 10,000.
The final day centred on industry exposure through field visits. Over 25 IFY students visited Snoorty Pvt. Ltd., where they explored digital workflows and technology-driven operations. More than 20 HND Business students toured PSO, gaining valuable insights into corporate management, supply chain functions and strategic decision-making within one of Pakistan’s major energy corporations.
Additionally, HND Computing students visited SUPARCO Resolve, where they learnt about Pakistan’s advancements in space science, satellite technology and aerospace innovation. The experience offered a rare opportunity to understand the role of computing in space missions, broadening students’ perspectives on future career paths.
GEW Week 2025 at ICE Karachi was not merely an event but a meaningful learning experience that inspired, challenged and strengthened students’ confidence. Through expert sessions, competitive activities, and direct industry exposure, learners are left with enhanced skills and clearer ambitions.
