Imam Haseeb Jahangir Visit to ICE

The International College of Excellence had the privilege of hosting Imam Haseeb Jahangir, Coordinating Chaplain at Buckinghamshire New University, for an insightful and inspiring community session that brought together students, faculty, and staff. Drawing on over a decade of experience as an Imam, inter-faith chaplain, and community leader, Imam Jahangir delivered a thoughtful talk centred on parenting, guidance, and the shared values that strengthen families and communities.

During the session, Imam Jahangir emphasised the importance of nurturing children with compassion, patience, and strong moral foundations. He highlighted how open communication, understanding, and empathy are essential in guiding young people through the challenges of today’s rapidly changing world. His reflections offered practical wisdom, reminding attendees of the vital role families play in shaping confident, caring, and responsible individuals who contribute positively to society.

The discussion also explored the broader role of faith, wellbeing, and mutual respect in building harmonious relationships, not only within families but across diverse communities. Imam Jahangir’s insights encouraged participants to consider how shared values, ethical guidance, and supportive environments can foster stronger, more resilient bonds. The session created space for reflection, meaningful dialogue, and a renewed awareness of our responsibilities towards nurturing both our children and the wider community.

Attendees left inspired and motivated, equipped with practical guidance and thoughtful perspectives on fostering growth, understanding, and ethical leadership within families and society at large.

We are deeply grateful to Imam Haseeb Jahangir for sharing his time, wisdom, and experience. His session reinforced ICE’s commitment to holistic education, community engagement, and the promotion of values that strengthen interpersonal relationships and societal cohesion. We look forward to future opportunities to collaborate and continue these important conversations around faith, wellbeing, and the development of responsible, compassionate future leaders.
