BTEC qualifications are awarded by Pearson, the UK’s largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked.
The programme is being offered in three sessions; September, Junuary, and April intakes each year. The class schedules are alligned to each intake and shared with students during their programme induction pack. Classes will be held at Islamabad Campus face-to-face.

Each individual unit carries 15 credits. You are required to secure 240 credits to complete your HND in business management.

All Learners (students) will be assessed by written Course-work / Assignment submissions against given Learning Objectives (LOs) , practical tasks, and Presentations for each module during the semesters. There are No-Exams in the entire qualification.
The assessment procedures relating to specific programmes will be made available to all students prior to the commencement of their course and will be reinforced throughout their programme of study.
Students are advised at key points; inductions, tutorials and through correspondence to follow the guidelines given to them digitally and/or posted in each classroom and on all noticeboards.

Once you are registered, the academic team will contact you immediately regarding your induction to the programme, study materials and related centre handbooks will be supplied. Your programme coordinators are accessible anytime on campus, over phone and/or email. For administrative support, you will be given access to a Student Support Coordinator.
The programme is being offered Face-to-Face at our main campus. Our Teaching Zone (Virtual Learning Platform) provides an opportunity to the students to track their qualifications by following related academic timelines, learning support and study materials are available online during their entire course. Students also get the access to Plagiarism/Similarity check facility 'Turnitin' and to reference for their written course before final submissions.
At ICE, we expect our students to register immediately at HN Global plateform which is a dedicated online learning platform, containing free resources. It provides guidance to students who are on their learning journey. The global forum connects students and tutors with the opportunity to discuss common themes and share good practice. With HN Global, students can get access to course specific core textbooks, work on their CV, improve their study skills by completing online learning modules targeted at common development areas.
How to register as Learner at HN Global?
BTEC Higher National Diplomas are widely recognised in all major countries including the UK and are also accepted globally by universities as equivalent first two years of the undergraduate programme providing more opportunities to students as compared to local or other foundation programmes.
Students have the option to top up HND to the final year of an undergraduate degree programme; BA (Hons) at over 150 universities worldwide of your choice. The students can search for their own choice of universities and/or degree programme via the Pearson BTEC platform called ' Degree Course Finder '
The HND programme is also significantly more affordable and students are given merit-based scholarships. At ICE, students are given the flexibility (where required) to attend online/blended sessions. The programme is delivered face-to-face and via flexible learning to help the students study as per the schedule of their choice.
Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals have been designed to equip their students to meet the challenges in the professional environment of their choice. Recognised by employers and universities, the HND programme not only provides academic knowledge, but gears the students ready to work in the market.
Upon successful completion of BTEC HN Business, students will have the option to enroll on-to the following international degree programmes for example:
A Higher National Diploma is a two years programme awarded by Pearson UK. The HND programme is equivalent to 14 years of education (Associate Degree Programme, ADP) recognised by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The programme is designed to help the candidates with employment by giving them hands-on skills, focusing on varnishing skills and teaching them practical application of concepts. All modules of the programme are coursework based spread over two years (4 semesters) with specialisation pathways. The HND qualifications are designed to equip the learner with up-to-date sector-related skills so as to make the employment path easier for them by focusing on the skill sets in addition to understanding and knowledge of the content and the subjects. It is a flexible programme that meets the requirements of working individuals as well.
Currently, we are offering HND in Business, Art and Design (Fashion, Textiles), Creative Media Production, Gaming and Computing with specialised pathways. The learner can choose the pathways at the start of their session and can enroll in the designated programme. Each pathway ensures a holistic academic and vocational experience for the learner.

Choosing to do the top-up year and ensuring the undergraduate degree requirements are complete, the candidate can get equivalence from the HEC for a 16 years honors degree.
The HND programme is a skill-based qualification designed for working professionals and individuals aspiring to work in the Management, Administrative and other Professional roles. The graduates would be able to apply entrepreneurial techniques to startup their own businesses and ventures.
The HND programme is also significantly more affordable and students are given merit-based scholarships. The approximate fee of HND course is PKR 765,000/- which includes international registration fee. The students are given flexible installment plans during the admission process.
The Higher National Diploma programme comprises 240 credit hours which is equivalent to 2nd year of an undergraduate degree.
A top-up year is the final year of the undergraduate programme. Students have the option to top up HND to the final year of an undergraduate degree programme; BA (Hons) at over 150 universities worldwide of your choice. The HN graduates have the option to enroll into the final year (BA Hons Business Administration) of Buckinghamshire New University UK through its distance learning provision.

Dr. Anthony Stevenson
Dr. Stevenson has a Ph.D. in Finance Banking from Loughborough University along with an MSc in Finance and an MBA in Finance from University of Leicester. He is currently serving as Academic Lead Accounting and Finance at University of Derby since 2017. He has experience in teaching internationally having taught in Asia and many other parts of the world including serving as the Head of the school at KDU University College Penang, Malaysia in 2016, the Director of Banking Studies Senior Lecturer Banking and Finance from 2014-2016 at James Cook University Singapore and as the Director of Finance and Banking Senior Lecturer Finance University of Bedfordshire. In addition, he has published research papers in the areas of bank lending behavior and the impact of constrained liquidity on small firms in Europe.

Mandy is an experienced educator currently serving as the Programame Leader – HND Business Management, Travel & Tourism Management and Hospitality Management at the City College London since 2018. Moreover, she has also taught at Harlow College, Hertford Regional College and Anglia Ruskin University. She has also worked as a Marketing Manager at Tesco PLC
