Celebrating Excellence: Ms Jane Baker of Pearson at ICE High Achievers Ceremony 2025
The High Achievers Ceremony 2025 at the International College of Excellence, Islamabad was a celebration of talent, dedication, and academic excellence, honoured by the presence of Ms Jane Baker, Vice President of Business Development at Pearson, as the Chief Guest.
Ms Baker engaged with both students and faculty, sharing valuable insights on global education, innovation, and the importance of nurturing academic and creative excellence. Her visit highlighted the significance of preparing students to meet international standards and equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
During the ceremony, Ms Baker presented shields and certificates to top-performing students and those achieving distinctions across Computing, Business, and Art & Design. She commended their hard work, innovation, and commitment to excellence, recognising the effort and talent that led to their achievements. Special appreciation was extended to the computing students for their creativity and technological innovation, emphasising ICE’s role in developing future-ready professionals.
The event also celebrated the winners of the ‘Soul of Pakistan’ competition, held in April 2025 at Governor House Sindh, Karachi. ICE Pakistan’s team secured the top position, and Ms Baker applauded the students for their outstanding designs that beautifully captured the heritage, art, and culture of Pakistan.
As part of her visit, Ms Baker toured the Fashion & Textile Lab, where she was inspired by the students’ creativity, craftsmanship, and professionalism. She commended the high standards of work and the practical application of skills that reflect ICE’s commitment to fostering innovation and global learning opportunities in partnership with Pearson.
