ICE BUSINESS CHALLENGE 1.0
ICE Business Challenge 1.0 is a platform that prepares students to start a new business by developing a thorough written business plan for a new product or service. It is an opportunity to highlight the entrepreneurial potential of high school and university students in Pakistan.
Keeping in view the World Economic Forum’s 2020 publication on Future of Jobs and Employability skills of Pakistani graduates and also the professional development requirements of the Education Industry, ICE Pakistan is organising an inter-schools/ university business plan competition scheduled on May 12th 2023 at ICE Pakistan.
The prime objective of this competition is to stimulate a healthy competitive spirit that will foster intellectual, academic, social and professional excellence in the students. Surely, start-ups are imperative for mobility of our youth at the national economic stratosphere.

Phase 1
Registration & Submission of Business Plan Summary

Phase 2
Business Plan Summary-Screening
Feb 19, 2023 – Feb 23, 2023
Evaluation and selection of business plan summary will be done by Industry experts. Business plan summaries are read, reviewed, and scored by Screening Round Judges.
Your Business Plan summary must be submitted in the Registration Form.
Based on the scores, five ideas from each category will move to the final round of the competition.
Announcement of the top five Business Plan Summaries, from each category will be announced.
Phase 3
GRAND FINALE
May 12, 2023
Pre-Screening:
The Elevator Pitch Round consists of a 60-90 seconds pitch of the team’s business plan, presented by any one team member, in front of a panel of judges. Three teams from each category will qualify for the Final Rounds.
Final Round:
The Final Presentation Round is where the final teams present their complete business plan to a panel of judges. Three teams from each category will proceed to the Final Presentation round (exceptions to this number may be made based on the quality of business plans submitted). The Final Presentations focus on the complete business plan where teams present their plans to a group of judges and field questions.
COMPETITION GUIDELINES
- Competition is open to all high school, college & undergraduate university students from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, KPK and AJK. (Northern Pakistan)
- Team must include minimum 2 or maximum 4 members
- Submit a written business idea (only one submission per team; 250 to 300 words)
- Finalists will compete via a 3-5 minute live (face to face) presentation before a panel of judges, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A in the Grand Finale
- Professional attire required for all finalists
