The ICE-Y competition is an opportunity for all the gamers to participate in and show their competitive spirit alongside our students. After an event-free pandemic, the gamers will finally have a chance to bring their ‘A’ game to the arena!

Call of Duty: Vanguard and FIFA 22

Game rules
- Default Camera Settings
- Match duration: 6 minutes (per half)
- Game speed: Normal
- Best of threes.
- If one person wins twice in a row, the third match will not be conducted.
- A simple toss will decide the home and away team for the first match.
- The roles will swap in every match.
- All matches will be played via ´Friendlies´
- Players are allowed to play with club and country teams but games should only be club v club or country v country.
- The Home player chooses whether to play with club or country teams.
- Only tactical defence is permitted i.e. defending should always be fully manual, same as attacking.
- The team captain has to check in with us.
- Standard formations only. It’s forbidden to use custom formations i.e. don’t use the square button to change the position of players. Your opponent gets a warning, and you will play a rematch. When a player violates a custom formation for the second time, he/she will be disqualified.
- Should an individual disconnect on purpose mid-game on more than one occasion he or she may be disqualified from future fixtures.
- Should a match finish as a draw the tie breaker will be decided with a golden goal.
- It is allowed to change your team during the tournament but not during fixtures.
- All matches have to be played with the online squads.
- If a player does not show up for his or her fixture, a walkover will be awarded to the opposing player.

Game rules:
- The tournament will follow CDL GA rules.
- Keyboards and mouses are banned for use.
- All participants are expected to arrive within the first fifteen minutes of the given time.
- If the participants do not arrive on time, their team will be disqualified from the tournament.
- All participants are expected to bring their own controllers and headsets.
- All participants are expected not to use the xim or cronusmax during the tournament. If found doing so, the team will be disqualified.
- No time for warm-up or break/s will be given to the participants.
- The roasters will be fixed and thus, the teams will not be allowed to change their roasters mid-session.
No re-entry will be allowed, however, one substitute will be allowed in the following cases:
- The former participant is sick.
- The former participant is physically unable to play a game due to an injury.
- The former participant is a no-show on the day of the tournament.
